Is it just me or do others feel a little "plastic" about Love Day? Hubby and I don't really celebrate Love Day. While I understand the origins and historical roots of St. Valentine's Day, the whole day still smacks of rampant consumerism: excessive, over-indulgent and totally unnecessary. No thanks. Isn't love about saying "I love you" and "thank you" each and EVERY day as opposed to just once a year?
Ooops, too cynical? Guess I better get off my soap-box now. ;)
