About Me

A city-girl living in a small town, trying to find her way in this world with some yarn and needles. I love knitting just for the sheer pleasure of moving my fingers and watching string turn into fabric.  As for the seaming and finishing . . . well, I can do without any of that.

My mom taught me to knit and crochet when I was a little girl.  Not sure if I was 12? Maybe 10?  Made a few doll clothes and some afghans.  Dabbled here and there over the years, but essentially was away from anything fibre-related for a long, long time. Not no more!

A co-worker toiling away on a mitten inspired me to try my hand at crafting again.  That was in 2006.  Since then, been knittin’ steady.  Yay for me!  Recently took up crochet again too.  Let's see where this goes.
