The air is crisp with a wee bit of coolness..  The bright blue sky reveals a glorious sun, but its warmth has waned.  And the leaves are turning bright red, yellow and orange.  Is it fall where you are?

This weekend I'm prepping for a mid-term, but still enjoying the peace and quiet of an extended weekend.  This time last year, we were surrounded by boxes upon boxes as we prepared to move three families into one farmhouse . . . so, its nice to be enjoying the fruits of our labours this Thanksgiving weekend.  Our own chickens are roasting in the oven and potaoes, carrots and turnips from the garden will be gracing the supper table.  We're even using our own apples for the pie and crisp that will serve as dessert. Yum!  What could be better?
